Let's assume that we have a Multi-Select Picklist as depicted below
In order to load this field with Salesforce Data Loader, separate the values with semi-colon in the .csv file and proceed with the Data load.
Also, in order to load Text Area fields which includes both Text Area(Long) and Text Area(Rich), make sure that you format it as Text columns in the .csv file to avoid discrepancies.
(To do this in Excel, Select the column->Format Cells->Text)
